During the pandemic, life stopped for a while, longer than any of us could have ever imagined. We panicked, we cried, we loved, we felt both hopeless and full of hope.
While the world shut down, we admired and lived life through Italy’s rectangular escapes. We enjoyed the passing of the seasons, the smell of our neighbors cooking, and the sounds of our quiet cities, crashing waves, or chirping birds. When we couldn’t travel, we lived through other’s windows, the ones you shared through Instagram, reminding us of the immense beauty our country holds.
Here, some of our favorite windowscapes, which kept us smiling, positive, and connected. Thank you to all of you who participated in #italyfromawindow…though we were apart, we were never alone.
