Table Setting & Lunch Inside an Aristocratic Estate
The understated Grandeur of the Roman Countryside
A little under 1 hour drive North of Rome, in the magical countryside called Tuscia, said by many to be Italy’s best kept secret nestled on the border with Tuscany and Umbria, lies an exceptionally romantic and dreamy aristocratic home: Villa Rossi Danielli. The property, composed of a main building and a guest house, has hosted personalities such as Julia Roberts, Harry Styles and Sarah Jessica Parker.
A long avenue bordered by cypress and olive trees leads to the property which has been entirely renovated, keeping its identity intact. It has a private chapel and its spacious rooms are decorated with antiques and numerous family portraits. Outside, a garden surrounded by hedges leads to a swimming pool overlooking the family’s olive trees and the hills leading to Viterbo.
You’ll be welcomed by Maria Renata Catalano Leto, exuberant and creative owner, heart and soul of Villa Rossi Danielli. In the company of Maria Renata you’ll learn the art of table setting with props, seasonal flowers and one-of-a-kind objects which she has collected throughout the years. The experience will end with a lavish lunch prepared by their home-cook, with wines to pair, served by their in-house historical butler Luciano.
