A Cooking Class in Florence with Emiko Davies

Cookery Tales with a Food Writer & Photographer

May 12th

September 21st

October 10th

This experience, designed exclusively for Italy Segreta’s clients with award-winning Australian-Japanese food writer, photographer and cookbook author Emiko Davies, will unfold inside one of the most fascinating artisanal spaces of Florence: Riccardo Barthel.

Emiko will lead Italy’s Segreta’s cooking class with recipes inspired by her cookbooks. The hands-on lesson will be preceded with a walk at the farmers market, to source the ingredients for the class and delve into the season’s produce. After shopping with and like a local, you’ll head back to the Riccardo Barthel Cooking School with your bountiful baskets and the lesson will be followed by lunch with wines to pair.

We chose Riccardo Barthel’s as the special backdrop for this class, thanks to its strive for excellence: they have been producing for over forty years a cohesive universe of high quality products from taps to lights, from handles to bathroom and kitchen accessories, as their attention to detail marries a design that makes the historic brand a unicum in the world.

This cooking class is truly a 360-degree experience into the Florentine world of food and design in the company of an exceptional personality. The classes have fixed dates and only 8 places.
